I've been showing dogs for more than 50 years and taking candids for 18 years! I strive to take candids that I would be proud to have of my own dogs. Correct gaiting, head shots or those special fun moments!
I started out in Junior Handling... WAY back in the 1970s.. my first breeds were an Am. Cocker Spaniel and a German Shepherd. In my 20s I found my breed! Amstaffs! Then shortly after I found Manchester Terriers and have had them ever since.
Chase Ability, Sprinter, Barn Hunt and other events with my dogs as I think my dogs should have titles after their names as much as the ones before them!
My main love is the conformation ring though and it STILL gives me goosebumps when I can capture THE shot! Perfect movement, a
beautiful headshot, the connection between dog and handler, etc.
